Hello! I’m Rohan Ugale, a travel photographer based in the United States and available for assignments worldwide.

Over the years, I’ve built a strong following for my work in Japan, a country that I continue to explore deeply in every season. I craft visual stories of the places I visit - everything from the hero locations & landscapes to the little details that help viewers feel like they’re traveling alongside me. To further elevate these stories, I bring my unique color and style to every image, presenting a warm, inviting, vintage, and almost nostalgic feeling in every frame. My goal is to not only showcase or promote a location, but to motivate others to pack their bags & travel, so they experience these places for themselves.

Concurrently, I’m passionate about photography education and helping others learn how to compose & edit photos they love. As a self-taught photographer, I try to share as many free resources and tips as possible through my Instagram page and via my blog, hosted here.

Outside of Japan, I’ve had the pleasure of photographing places in Egypt, Italy, Portugal, and South Korea. I have experience traveling around the United States, Central & South America, and the majority of Western Europe. But wherever I go, I’m driven by the desire to create, find adventure, tell the stories, and inspire others to do the same.
